Question: “I have a B&O (Bang Olufsen) Avant TV, via a LenovoEMC NAS. We usually watch TV channels on it but recently would like to try playing music DVDs there. Any 101 steps?”
What is the Bang & Olufsen BeoVision Avant?
The original B&O Avant was a CRT TV that’s now considered by some to be the finest CRT TV ever made. So it seems B&O is keen to channel this heritage and prestige into the new LCD Avant – a set which does mark, after all, a momentous point in the brand’s AV development given that it’s its first 4K/UHD TV.
As you would expect from B&O, the Avant doesn’t just trade on its name and native 4K resolution to define its luxury status. B&O has also gone to town in truly spectacular fashion on the set’s design. With that 4K ultra resolution, it would be a great choice to play music DVD movies on it because of its large screen, vivid performance and wide compatibility of media.
