I have noticed that in video cameras, unique devices help to concentrate automatically. Those kind of sensors with some cams change in in the area of contrast, while others work with a beam with infra-red (IR) light, especially in low lumination. Higher spec cameras oftentimes use a combination of both models and may have Face Priority AF where the video camera can ‘See’ any face and focus only upon that.
